Simone Wilson From CrossFit Effects has issued a challenge, who's in? let us know and keep track of totals in each days 'comments'

Beginning today, 14th June 2009, I am going to do one pullup on day one and add one each day until we get to 100 pullups on the 100th day!

Start Date: 14th June 2009
End Date: 21st September 2009

The Rules:

1. Form: Deadhang pullups or kipping pullups are OK. Each pullup must begin with arms at full extension and end with your chin over the bar.

2. You can complete each day’s pullups all at once, or broken up and done at different times throughout the day

3. If for some reason you miss a day, you have to make up all the missed pullups the following day

4. If you don’t start the challenge with us today, you can “buy-in” at any time by doing ALL the missed day’s pullups on your first day

5. Any pullups you complete during your regular workout can count towards that day’s Challenge pullups, if you want them to

6. Have fun doing pullups and getting stronger doing it!

7. On the days when I do not have access to a pullup bar or similar I will be subbing Pushups for Pullups.

As with all CF exercises, pullups can be scaled. If you are unable to do pullups, you may sub jumping-pullups.

Entrants so far are:

Myself - CFX
“I must be bloody mad ... this is just going to suck .... Bring it!! Bwahhahahahaahah”

Con - CFX
“I’m in! Can’t wait until day 100!!!
I subbed with 1 ring pullup (haven’t installed the bar at home yet!)“

Graeme - CFX
“Ok, just to prove you & Con don’t have a mortgage on the stupidity stakes I’ll join this one.
I can’t get to a bar untill Tuesday so that will be 7 to buy in. I don’t think I’m going to like the second half of this challenge.“

Chris Teft - Crossfit Cult
“When are you starting? I might join you. I’m always up for a bit more pain. lol”

Nat Voss, Old Bull & Young Bull also on board!

Anyone else interested in coming on board? We can’t be the only 7 crazy enough to give this a go.
